Ata gold, also known as Ata Lira, is a full-size gold coin minted by the Turkish State Mint during the Republic era. It has 22 karat (916 millesimal) purity and a gross weight of approximately 7.20 grams. It is the Ataturk portrait version of the Cumhuriyet (Republic) gold coin: the obverse features the portrait of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, while the reverse carries inscriptions and motifs of the Republic period. Jewelers price it as a separate item, distinct from the ziynet full gold coin.

Like other sarrafiye products, the price of Ata gold is built on the gram gold price. Its pure gold content, roughly 6.60 grams, sets the base value; mint production costs, jeweler workmanship and a market premium are added on top. Ata gold carries a small type premium over the ziynet full gold coin: the portrait strike means it trades slightly above the ziynet series.
